Well, it has taken a bit longer than I had anticipated but good things come to those that wait.

The goal for FortBendBaseball.com is pretty simple...I want this website to be a one stop source for parents and players in Fort Bend County to find out anything and everything you will need in regards to baseball in the area.

I hope to work with youth leagues and high school coaches in the area to provide the viewers with team information, tournament listings, tryout dates and anything else that would be of use for players and parents.

In the coming days, youth leagues around the county will be contacted to start a database of all select level teams in the area. This can be utilized by coaches to setup games, scrimmages, and tournaments with other area teams. I feel having all the contact information located in one place will be a huge asset to the youth baseball community.

We will also be covering high school baseball, but to a lesser extent. Randy Byers over at Houston 5A Baseball does such an outstanding job covering high school baseball that this site will simply help to augment what he has been doing for the last 10 years.

Of course, we welcome any and all thoughts and suggestions that you feel will help improve the content of this site.
